Lantana one of my favorite plants. I saved this little beauty from a small sprout in the yard. The plants I find randomly in the yard that turn out to be amazing I call a gift from God. #blessed #savethebees #beekeeping #beesofinstagram #honeybees #beesmeadery #love #instagood #fashion #photooftheday #beautiful #art #photography #happy #picoftheday #cute #follow #tbt #followme #nature #like4like #travel #instagram #style #noseedleftbehind FOLLW US on Instagram @ https://instagr.am/p/Cd2Aehst8Uz/ Written by Ashley Lynn Crossman for BeesMeadery.com
The past 2 years during the pandemic and epoch of homeschooling and life redirects. Just as everything was going nuts in 2020. That was the year we wear buying the farm land and expanding rental properties. Things got a little crazy for a while and we ended up buying tractors and selling them for a profit for a time because selling produce was not working out. Most people started shutting up in there homes and having Walmart deliver no-one was interested in farm produce from the farm :( also festivals closed so no jewelry, art, honey, or any sales of products during festival season for 2 years!!! I miss getting out and see all the happy festival goers and selling them something good to take home and enjoy. During all this craziness I must of redesign this website 10 times. ugghh BUT now I am going back to square one and gonna just post and share good tips, gardening, brewing and food that is Fresh Fit and Local. (shameless plug for my other blog www.freshfitlocal.com) I hope you enjoy my posts and I hope I am able to pull this off this summer. My goal is to post weekly and then publish my next cookbook in the fall. I need to add a HUGE THANK YOU. I have had some fans that have stuck with me through it all. You guys are the reason I am not giving up right now. There are times I feel like a complete fool writing theses posts and then I see a like a share and a comment that is nice. I have gotten thank you from people and that is crazy because I need to THANK YOU!!! Every single one of you 8,000 + that still get my newsletters and the 78% of you that read them THANK YOU. We are canceling our monthly roundup of amazing Mead makers, Breweries, and FoodTrucks. But we are not done!!! We are going to have a yearly roundup and feature random business during the year. With all the farm chores, 2 kids and everything else it was too much to find and judge enough groups in time to make the posts monthly. So we will have a best for each state round up later and the year and give everyone more time and another chance to sign up for consideration.
