Honeymoon came from the History of Mead!

Going on your Honeymoon was derived from Mead Brewing.

Mead to Honeymoon

Mead is one of the world’s oldest fermented beverages. Ancient myths and writings throughout the world contain references to alcoholic beverages that were drunk by both people and gods alike.

The word Honeymoon ( where did it come from?)

Mead was a part of the rituals of the Celts, AngloSaxons and Vikings. It was believed to have magical, healing powers even capable of increasing fertility. The word Honeymoon is derived from the practice of the newlyweds drinking mead for one month (a moon) after the wedding. If the mead was "proper," a son would be born nine months later.

The first Discovry of Mead over 40k years ago

20,000-40,000 years ago people discovered mead

According to some researchers, mead was first discovered by Africans 20 thousand years ago. When the Miombo tree was old, it would have a cavity. In that cavity the honey bees build their home. During the rain season the hive would fill with water. From natural yeast, the honey became mead.

Mead is awesome because everyone can have their own flavor mixtures. Throw-out time mead has expanded and has been used from people all over the world, like the Vikings. If you would like more info about the history of mead this is one of my references https://www.medovina.com/history.htm

Old Camper complete redo- Stage 1 gutting and FLoor

1/10/2022

Old camper remodeled

Phase 1 Gutting everything that was rotten and reframing the floor. I also had to pressure wash everything because the camper was sitting under a tree for years. I removed all the top vents and re sealed the whole roof. Its still an ongoing project but you either do it right or do it again.
This is a fun project because at the end of it you can remodel it like you want. When I get done with floors completely, I would like to add solar to be able to go anywhere and be comfortable. This of course is going to take a little more time.

This was an awesome discovery because scientist were able to link evolutionary traits between the honey bee and the wasp. Read more about the discovery Danforth and George Poinar of Oregon State University made @ https://news.cornell.edu/stories/2006/11/two-studies-bee-evolution-reveal-surprises
